This perfect mix of the rural and urban environment means you can have both tranquility and excellent amenities just outside your doorstep.

Dining, Entertainment & Shopping

There's much to be said about small-town living and friendly eating establishments. For a trendy coffeehouse vibe, Brick House Coffee Bar and Eatery is located in Historic Harrisonville Square and takes pride in serving the area with traditional coffees and a fresh menu. When it comes to barbeque, Branding Iron BBQ is a modest place that serves locals some of the best ribs and burnt ends in their housemade sauce. Jose Pepper's Mexican Restaurant has a relaxed environment and a menu full of classic dishes like burritos, tacos, and margaritas. If you're looking for a casual night out of drinks and food, Bookie's Sports Bar is a local haunt where you can relax and watch the big game.

Missouri Mud Company is another local hot spot known as "The Mud," but it's much more than a coffee house. It's a family-owned Greek deli, offering delicious food and coffee, jewelry, purses, home decor, and gift items. If you love to support local farmers and artisans, cities throughout the county have a Farmers and Artists Market. They feature your neighbors — farmers, artisans, and other vendors — selling the things they have grown, raised, and produced on local farms.
